WARREN – The Warren Warrior baseball season has come to an end. The Warriors took on opponents Anahuac and Kountze last week.
Tuesday night Warren played Anahuac in an away game. The Warriors played their hardest against Anahuac winning 6-5.
Friday night was senior night for the Warren Warriors who played Kountze at home. Starting on the mound for the Warriors was senior, Brody Brockman for his last time followed later by sophomore Trace Daigle to finish it off. Seniors recognized were third basemen Austin Scherry, center fielder Chance Sims, left fielder Seth Smith, catcher and shortstop Bryce Herrington, and pitcher and catcher Brody Brockman.
The Warriors started strong against Kountze going threw up three down in the first inning. The Warriors maintained this confidence throughout the whole game maintains their lead of one. Chace Sims started off at the plate hitting a leadoff double to start off the 1st inning.
The Warriors stayed confident the entire time and ended the season with a bang with the win over Kountze 4-3.
