Colmesneil Council approves projects in short meeting

The Colmesneil City Council held their regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on February 12. The minutes of the previous meeting, the financial and investment reports, the office report, and the water and sewer reports were all approved. During the water and sewer report, Mayor Don Baird announced that $3,500 had been sold in the last month.

Several items were approved, including the purchase of a used 2012 Dodge Ram pickup truck, and a motion to dispose of a 1999 Chevy ¾ ton pickup truck by advertising the vehicle in the newspaper. The resolution designating the signators for the Texas Community Development Group was also passed.

Mayor Baird discussed the upcoming Chamber of Commerce meeting, which will be held on February 19.

The meeting was adjourned.
